But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you. Matt 6:33

Seeking Wisdom
Wisdom from the Scriptures about Diligence & Work
Gather when the harvest is ready!
Work when the work is there!

Psalm 127  Prosperity Comes from the LORD.

1 Unless the LORD builds the house,
         They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the LORD guards the city,
The watchman keeps awake in vain.
2 It is vain for you to rise up early,
         To retire late,
         To eat the bread of painful labors;
For He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.

“Diligence”

Poor is he who works with a negligent hand,
But the hand of the
diligent makes rich.
He who gathers in summer is a son who acts wisely,
But he who sleeps in harvest is a son who acts shamefully.

Proverbs 10:4-5

By wisdom a house is built,
and through understanding it is established;
through knowledge its rooms are filled
with rare and beautiful treasures.

Proverbs 24:3-4

Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in slave labor.   Proverbs 12:24

Psalm 126
5 Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting.
6 He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed,
Shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing,
But the soul of the diligent is made fat.
Proverbs 13:4

The plans of the diligent lead surely to advantage,
But everyone who is hasty comes surely to poverty.

Proverbs 21:5

Go to the ant, O sluggard,
Observe her ways and be wise,
Which, having no chief,
Officer or ruler,
Prepares her food in the summer
And gathers her provision in the harvest.
How long will you lie down, O sluggard?
When will you arise from your sleep?
"A little sleep, a little slumber,
A little folding of the hands to rest"--
Your poverty will come in like a vagabond
And your need like an armed man.

Proverbs 6:6-11

Psalm 128
1 How blessed is everyone who fears the LORD,
         Who walks in His ways.
2 When you shall eat of the fruit of your hands,
You will be happy and it will be well with you.
3 Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine
         Within your house,
         Your children like olive plants
         Around your table.
4 Behold, for thus shall the man be blessed
         Who fears the LORD.
5 The LORD bless you from Zion,
And may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
6 Indeed, may you see your children's children
         Peace be upon Israel!

The greatest riches in our homes is the richeness of knowing Jesus Christ. There is no greater richness than being filled with the Holy Spirit and having relationship with the  burning holiness of God Himself through His Son. Ask for and earnestly seek the wealth & treasures of wisdom and understanding. You will find the powerful and beautiful “Fear of the Lord.”

Remember, we are told to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength!
We are also told to deny ourselves, pick up our cross daily, and follow Jesus!

By wisdom a house is built,
and through understanding it is established;
through knowledge its rooms are filled
with rare and beautiful treasures.

Proverbs 24:3-4

"I walk in the way of righteousness,
In the midst of the paths of justice,
To endow those who love me with wealth,
That I may fill their treasuries.
Proverbs 8:20-21

Job Complaining
Job 7:1-2    "Is not man forced to labor on earth,
And are not his days like the days of a hired man?
"As a slave who pants for the shade,
And as a hired man who eagerly waits for his wages,

Solomon a Man of Wisdom
Ecclesiastes 2:24 There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and tell himself that his labor is good. This also I have seen that it is from the hand of God. 25 For who can eat and who can have enjoyment without Him? 26 For to a person who is good in His sight He has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, while to the sinner He has given the task of gathering and collecting so that he may give to one who is good in God's sight This too is vanity and striving after wind.

Ecclesiastes 3:22 So I saw that there is nothing better for a man than to enjoy his work, because that is his lot. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him?

Ecclesiastes 9:11
I have seen something else under the sun:
The race is not to the swift
or the battle to the strong,
nor does food come to the wise
       or wealth to the brilliant
       or favor to the learned;
but time and chance happen to them all.

Jeremiah 12:5
"If you have run
with footmen and they have tired you out, then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, how will you do in the... (thicket of the battle)?

Proverbs 24:10   If you falter in times of trouble,
            how small is your strength!

Proverbs 20:24
A man's steps are directed by the LORD.
How then can anyone understand his own way?

Proverbs 14:23   All hard work brings a profit,
but mere talk leads only to poverty.

Psalm 49     The Folly of Trusting in Riches.

1 Hear this, all peoples; Give ear, all inhabitants of the world,
2 Both low and high, Rich and poor together.
3 My mouth will speak wisdom, And the meditation of my heart will be understanding.
4 I will incline my ear to a proverb; I will express my riddle on the harp.
5 Why should I fear in days of adversity, when the iniquity of my foes surrounds me,
6 Even those who trust in their wealth and boast in the abundance of their riches?
7 No man can by any means  redeem his brother Or give to God a  ransom for him--
8 For the redemption of his soul is costly, And he should cease trying forever--
9 That he should live on eternally, That he should not undergo decay.
10 For he sees that even wise men die; the stupid and the senseless alike perish And leave their wealth to others.
11 Their inner thought is that their houses are forever and their dwelling places to all generations; they have called their lands after their own names.
12 But man in his pomp will not endure; He is like the beasts that perish.
13This is the way of those who are foolish, and of those after them who approve their words. Selah.

May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17

Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
Deuteronomy 5:13

Then I realized that it is good and proper for a man to eat and drink, and to find satisfaction in his toilsome
labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given him—for this is his lot.   Ecclesiastes 5:18

God Restores Job's Fortunes  Job 42:10
The LORD restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the LORD increased all that Job had twofold.

”Remember Our Priorities”

Remember, we are told to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength!
We are also told to deny ourselves, pick up our cross daily, and follow Jesus!
***Make Sure Your Ultimate Work IS The Work of the Father
***
Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing His work. John 14:10
Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval." John 6:27
Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58

“Hostile Eyewitness Accounts”
Hostile, unbiased, unsympathetic eyewitness accounts are powerful. The resurrection of Jesus from the dead is foundational to our faith. There were over 500 eyewitness accounts to the resurrection. Many eyewitnesses were Christians and sympathetic to the cause, but there are also hostile eyewitness accounts which make verification of the resurrection of Jesus all the more powerful.
If you go to any of the web sites above you will find unsympathetic, unbiased, yet favorable MPG-CAP accounts from the media which make verification and validation of these caplets all the more powerful.

If you go to the "Media Room" you will find favorable unbiased accounts from the media which is powerful.

11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.  Jeremiah 29

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me."
                                                                                                                         Jesus      (John 15: 4)
19 The LORD has established His throne in the heavens,
And His sovereignty rules over all.
20 Bless the LORD, you His angels,
Mighty in strength, who perform His word,
Obeying the voice of His word!
21 Bless the LORD, all you His hosts,
You who serve Him, doing His will.
22 Bless the LORD, all you works of His,
         In all places of His dominion;
Bless the LORD, O my soul!  Psalm 103

 The blessing of the LORD be upon you;
We bless you in the name of the LORD.
